The Open Achievement Project is the backbone of the Open Achievement Organization. It is our open source human achievement research & development project that invites everyone passionate about achievement to be directly involved. The objective of the Project is to involve everyone and create the cutting edge in strategy for further human achievement throughout the future as defined in our Project Mission.

The scope of our open R&D Project includes both individual & group achievement across all uplifting pursuits of life. For individuals, this may include subjects such as financial success, relationship success, emotional success, leadership success, etc. For a small to large group or organization of people, this may include such subjects such as financial success, marketing success, human impact success, leadership success, etc. Also, subjects that simultaneously span both individual & group achievement may be pursued. Extremely broad to extremely niche focused Initiatives may be established. The only limits to our Project are what contributors decide to pursue. Getting results with all good things in life are fair game here. With growth, we plan to encompass a vast array of R&D Initiatives within specific subjects that add concrete value to the world at large.

Our R&D Project consists of Project Initiatives, with specific focuses defined by their creators, where the Initiatives are carried forward by their own leaders & contributors. Currently, we only have a few Initiatives within our Project, named Open Achievement Project, Open Achievement Community, & Friendship, which were all established by our founder, Brian Watkins. However, we are currently designing & developing a sophisticated open platform that will allow for any individual or group ambitious & capable enough to establish their own Project Initiative and seek out support for it. In the meantime, you get involved by joining and contributing to our initial Initiatives.

The open source nature of this ambitious research & development project of human achievement is what makes this so special. But what takes this premise to the next level is that we are backing it up by creating a sophisticated open platform here on openachievement.com to facilitate a world class experience of collaboration for leaders & contributors of Project Initiatives. Brian Watkins, our founder, is currently taking the executive lead in the design of the system that will serve as this open platform. Clearly, no other organization has built a world class, truly open, knowledge-based R&D project like Open Achievement.
