We are developing an open platform here at Open Achievement to host thousands of R&D Project Initiatives. Each R&D Initiative has its own purpose & its own methods for operating itself, set by the leaders & contributors of the individual Initiative. As you can imagine, designing & implementing a collaborative system that will help these Initiatives churn out meaningful discoveries and build upon their own data as well as the data of other Initiatives can be a complex challenge. We recognize the need for advanced, scalable strategies for managing all of the variables in this process, especially as fundamental changes are made to our open platform. We view this as being a task of building in the right flow & treatment of information through our platform as well as developing best practices for Initiative leaders & contributors to follow, concerning the treatment of data & information. We are currently looking for the right internet, research, & collaboration experienced CIO to work with us and our CTO in building our open platform and continuously developing our systems into the best that they can be. This is the long-term position for the ongoing development & management of the Open Achievement Project. The focus of the Chief Project Architect is most highly on the formats, features, best practices, architecture, and experience of the Project and it’s open platform. Where the CTO & CIO focus on the technical aspects of the system, our Chief Project Architect is responsible for the concepts behind the Project and its open platform along with their implementation. For all matters concerning this level of our Project, the CTO & CIO will work to carry out the plans of the Chief Project Architect. We are seeking the right candidate to oversee & carry forward the Open Achievement Project, who has an outstanding understanding of collaborative knowledge-based research & development, workflow process creation, team management, and modern internet applications. Somebody who can really take the Project and the open platform to new heights as far as formats, features, best practices, architecture, & all around experience go for hosting world class, open research & development initiatives is the person we want on our team. Leaders of Initiatives control the purpose, focus, guidelines, tools, data, etc, related to their Initiative. Leaders are the ones who manage & champion their Project Initiatives. Leaders are able to recruit contributors on to their Initiatives to further their pursuits. While developing the open platform, we are open to working with individuals or organizations to establish additional Initiatives who have the ability to efficiently attract numerous contributors.
