Our Founder

Brian Watkins

Brian Watkins is also known as the Extreme Entrepreneur and for good reason too. Brian has dedicated his life’s purpose to changing the world for the good of humanity in a massive way. He is a professional entrepreneur with several business ventures & projects under his belt. Brian is a passionate human being who loves connecting with others, sharing fun life experiences, and building influential initiatives that provide concrete value to others. When Brian isn’t strategizing on how to conquer substantial feats of achievement, you will find him connecting & having fun with new & old friends alike.
Brian founded Open Achievement on October 5th of 2008. He serves as Chairman of the Open Achievement Organization. Brian is currently heading up the design of the open platform for the Open Achievement Project. Feel free to reach out and introduce yourself to him!

Chief Technology Officer

Open Achievement is primarily operated on the internet at openachievement.com. We are planning a highly complex & sophisticated web platform that primarily allows for the rich collaboration between a very large member base via our Community & thousands of R&D Project Initiatives. We are currently looking for the right LAMP developer / system administrator to take the lead on maintaining & continuously developing our web infrastructure & systems. Additional desired skill sets are AJAX, Flash, XML, multimedia, & security. As our CTO, you are one of the most crucial members of our team because you keep us up & running and are the lead developer on our open platform. Supporting Developers
We are always looking to develop our technology & platform further so that we can deliver nothing less than a cutting edge, world class experience to our members. We are always open to welcoming additional web developers who are committed to furthering Open Achievement. As a supporting developer, you will be working directly with our CTO. If you have special development project or improvement that you would like to take on which will provide solid value to Open Achievement, then we are of course open to supporting you in doing that. Chief Information Officer

We are developing an open platform here at Open Achievement to host thousands of R&D Project Initiatives. Each R&D Initiative has its own purpose & its own methods for operating itself, set by the leaders & contributors of the individual Initiative. As you can imagine, designing & implementing a collaborative system that will help these Initiatives churn out meaningful discoveries and build upon their own data as well as the data of other Initiatives can be a complex challenge. We recognize the need for advanced, scalable strategies for managing all of the variables in this process, especially as fundamental changes are made to our open platform. We view this as being a task of building in the right flow & treatment of information through our platform as well as developing best practices for Initiative leaders & contributors to follow, concerning the treatment of data & information. We are currently looking for the right internet, research, & collaboration experienced CIO to work with us and our CTO in building our open platform and continuously developing our systems into the best that they can be. Chief Project Architect

This is the long-term position for the ongoing development & management of the Open Achievement Project. The focus of the Chief Project Architect is most highly on the formats, features, best practices, architecture, and experience of the Project and it’s open platform. Where the CTO & CIO focus on the technical aspects of the system, our Chief Project Architect is responsible for the concepts behind the Project and its open platform along with their implementation. For all matters concerning this level of our Project, the CTO & CIO will work to carry out the plans of the Chief Project Architect. We are seeking the right candidate to oversee & carry forward the Open Achievement Project, who has an outstanding understanding of collaborative knowledge-based research & development, workflow process creation, team management, and modern internet applications. Somebody who can really take the Project and the open platform to new heights as far as formats, features, best practices, architecture, & all around experience go for hosting world class, open research & development initiatives is the person we want on our team. Initiative Leader

We are currently developing a sophisticated open platform for the Open Achievement Project that allows any motivated individual or group to establish, operate, & promote an R&D Initiative. Leaders of Initiatives control the purpose, focus, guidelines, tools, data, etc, related to their Initiative. Leaders are the ones who manage & champion their Project Initiatives. Leaders are able to recruit contributors on to their Initiatives to further their pursuits. While developing the open platform, we are open to working with individuals or organizations to establish additional Initiatives who have the ability to efficiently attract numerous contributors. Initiative Contributor

One of the absolutely best ways to be involved with Open Achievement is to join and contribute to one or more Project Initiatives of your choosing. By contributing to a Project Initiative, you are literally helping to develop the cutting edge of strategic human achievement. You will also become closer and more connected to a likeminded group of peers who have similar interests as you. As a contributor, you will be involved in the research & development that the leaders along with the input of the contributors decide to take on. This may involve reading & reviewing books, conducting interviews of interesting people, or discussing theories of how results actually happen with fellow members.
